An independent trainer, I also work within a very deprived area of Rotherham across a group of 9 schools , made up of children's centres, infant, junior and primary schools and a secondary school. It's within these schools that my P4C life started 5 years ago, and now I'm a SAPERE Level 1 accredited trainer.

I'm lucky in that my work allows me into classrooms working with children, usually alongside the teacher in a CPD capacity, and to carry out a wide range of training, for schools, parents, clusters and the local authority. I really enjoy the challenge of taking a school from their initial expression of interest, via a staff meeting or INSET day, right through to implementing P4C across the whole school.

I'm lucky also to be involved with the wonderful P4C community (this is the gushy bit!). At every meeting there are new friends and old friends, all wanting to share - experiences, concerns, resources, anecdotes and success stories - and I've left every one better off. I think we owe a big debt to those few that practically everyone involved in P4C could name, but who will remain nameless here.

Finally, we're desperate for llama walkers - if you're round our way, call in!
