Philosophy for Teenagers

There are undoubtedly opportunities for p4c to contribute to aspects of the National Curriculum such as PLTS(personal learning and thinking skills framework), citizenship, PSHEE, spiritual and moral development, and cross-curricular dimensions such as identity and cultural diversity.

There is also scope for p4c to make subject learning richer and deeper by providing a means to explore some of the philosophical and conceptual dimensions of the statutory subjects.

The problem is not so much that p4c couldn't contribute to any of these areas but that teachers might not motivated or well equipped enough to give time to it.
