Philosophy for Children (p4c) is a wonderful way of bringing teachers and children together to discuss things that matter and it has many benefits for both groups. But there aren't enough hours in the day to discover new materials, produce resources and lesson plans and invent new types of activities to keep you and your pupils interested. That's why we have done a lot of work for you by publishing premium ideas, lesson plans, resources and recommendations online.

You will be able to copy and paste text from our resources and combine them with your own ideas to make materials, such as activity cards or digital slides. Sometimes we supply these 'extras' as well.

Yet resources, ideas and lesson plans aren’t all we give to members. We provide the latest ideas how to orchestrate p4c, evaluate it and make it more effective in practice. There is even a forum where you can ask for advice and swap ideas with other teachers and p4c trainers.

p4c.com is your filing system where you can select, store and organise your own choices of lessons, materials and schemes of work. Once you are logged in, a single mouse-click places any of our files in your folder. You browse p4c.com to:

  • Collect your favourite resources in your own briefcase
  • Collect a set of materials for a particular class or week in a special collection. You can even plan and store a complete course online
  • Create a 'wish list' of materials you'd like to use at a later date and send it to us.
