Residential Retreat - Level 1 SAPERE Accredited Course

A residential course over the weekend of Friday 12th February to Sunday14th, facilitated by p4c.com contributor and gifted education specialist, Jason Buckley. The venue is The Retreat House, Pleshey, Essex. The course fee includes full board, SAPERE Level 1 Handbook and a starter pack of lessons and resources to share with colleagues. The course is not faith based but a Richard Dawkins would appreciate the special atmosphere of the venue.

Other experienced P4Cers (including RE specialist Christine Easom) will be joining us for some sessions to provide different perspectives. As well as the core course, there will be optional sessions on the use of storytelling and on "Philosophy in Role", a creative approach that harnesses children's imagination to engage them in dialogue. There will be also be time to relax and enjoy this picturesque village with two pubs and a vanished castle.
